About LLM TokenBase
LLM TokenBase is a set of free web tools for counting tokens in the browser. The goal is simple: check length without creating an account or sending your draft prompt to a cloud service first.
What we build
We ship four focused tools: a live token counter with model modes, a context-window fill meter, and two converters for word ↔ token planning. Each page has one job — open, paste or enter a number, read the result.
Counts run on your device. The product is the length check itself, not a workspace, chat client, or email list.
What we do not claim
We are not affiliated with OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google. When a mode cannot match a vendor tokenizer exactly in a static page, we label it approximate instead of hiding the gap.
Results are for planning. Provider APIs and invoices remain the source of truth for billing and hard limits.
Who it is for
Developers and LLM users who need a quick length check before a request fails, a context window fills, or a draft prompt grows past budget.
It is not a chat client, not a model playground, and not an official tokenizer from any vendor.
